Who We Are
At Twin Spire Construction, our name carries the story of what matters most to us: family, legacy, and building something rare.
The “Twin Spire” name is a nod to the iconic Kentucky Derby spires and to Hal’s deep Kentucky roots. Kentucky has always represented tradition, grit, character, and the kind of people who have left a lasting legacy. It’s a place filled with history and pride with values that continue to inspire us and how we build today.
Historically, church spires pointed toward the heavens, symbolizing a connection between Earth and God and reminding believers to keep their eyes fixed on something greater than themselves. That symbolism holds special meaning for our family. It serves as a reminder of the faith that guides us, the values we hope to live by, and the loved ones who have gone before us and now reside in heaven. We carry their influence with us every day and hope they would be proud of the homes, relationships, and legacy we are building. Those principles of faith, integrity, and purpose continue to shape everything we do at Twin Spire Construction.
But the name also reflects the heart of our family: our identical twin boys. Identical twins occur in only about 4 out of every 1,000 births, a rarity that reminds us that the most meaningful things in life are often the hardest to replicate. That idea has become foundational to our vision for Twin Spire Construction: to create homes that feel intentional, distinctive, and truly one of a kind. We believe the best homes should never feel mass produced. They should feel personal, timeless, and rare.
Though inspired by twin symbols, the singular “Spire” of our namesake reflects unity — two people, two stories, two inspirations coming together to build one shared legacy.

He earned his degree in Construction Science from Texas A&M University before going on to receive his MBA from Southern Methodist University. Throughout his career, he has contributed to the successful completion of several notable projects across North Texas, including the Richards Group High Rise in Dallas, The Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters in Frisco, Ford Center at The Star, The Gates of Prosper Retail Center, and the Star Trail Amenity Center in Prosper. His experience also spans a variety of healthcare, hospitality, and large scale commercial developments. This background provides a unique foundation of technical expertise, project management, and a deep understanding of quality construction at every level.
Katie earned her degree in Public Relations from Texas Tech University and brings a creative eye and branding background to the business. While she has grown to love the design side of the building process, she still wears many hats managing the Hard Eight BBQ, Hotel Lucy, and The Pearl Boutique brands. Her passion for storytelling, aesthetics, and hospitality influences every detail of the homes Twin Spire creates.
Twin Spire Construction was founded with the belief that homes should be built with intention, integrity, and heart. Homes designed not only to be lived in, but to become part of a family’s story for generations to come.
